Hello fellow RSA Pensioners,
The Committee have been closely watching developments regarding the steps required of all of us to stay healthy and avoid the spread of the Coronavirus. Yesterday we received the undernoted email from the Company, the content of which will not come as any great surprise. They are advising us of actions being taken, in the light of the Government announcements connected to the Coved 19/Coronavirus, affecting the Pensioners Association.
Unfortunately, we will need to postpone all activities and events until further notice. Your committee will continue to deal with any day to day matters either by email or telephone, and members should feel free to contact any one of us if necessary.
Keep well everyone and stay safe.

=============================================
Dear All,
Firstly, I would wish you all well in these difficult times.
As you will appreciate we are all concerned for the health and wellbeing of all of our pensioners. With this in mind and in light of the Government announcement yesterday we are writing to you to recommend that all Pensioner Association social events and gatherings are either cancelled or deferred for the foreseeable future. We do not make this request lightly, but in view of the developing situation we are all seeing, this appears to be the best course of action.
We are therefore recommending/taking the following actions:
· It is recommended that all Pensioner Association arranged social events are cancelled/deferred from now for the foreseeable future. I would ask that you contact any event organisers in your area and pass on this request.
· Please ask all events organisers to notify anyone expecting to attend a future event that the event will now not be taking place.
· It is recommended in the event of any deposit having been paid a refund is requested from the venue. If this is not possible, please ask if the deposit can be held against an event at a future date.
· The usual Events Calendar will not be included with the In-Touch magazine for this year, as this would be inaccurate.
· The current events calendar will be removed from the website, so as not to promote future events.
· We will publish details of future events on the website once the current situation stabilises and we believe it is appropriate to do so.
I hope you understand the reasons behind this decision and thank you in advance for your understanding and help in communicating the position to those affected.
Wishing you and your family well at this time.
Kind regards
Andy Wright
